Christmas Fudge

Smooth creamy melt in you mouth fudge.

 2 tbsp butter
  cup Carnation evaporated milk
 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
 ¼ tsp salt
 2 cups miniature marshmallows
 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
 1 tsp vanilla extract
 ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Combine butter, evaporated milk, sugar and salt in a medium saucepan.

Bring to a boil over medium heat stirring occasionally.
Boil for 4 Minutes stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.

Stir in marshmallows, chocolate chips, nuts (optional) and vanilla.
Stir vigorously for about 1 minute or until all marshmallows are melted.
Pour into a foil-lined 8 inch square baking pan. Spread evenly.
Chill until firm.
