Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water add a tsp sugar; set aside for
5 Minutes
Scald milk; remove from heat; add the 1/4 cup butter. Stir to melt then cool.
Add yeast mixture, eggs, 1/4 cup sugar and salt.
Slowly add the cooled milk while beating on low.
Add 2/3 of the flour and mix well.
Switch to dough hook adding the remaining flour to make a dough that just cleans the sides of the bowl but is quite soft or mix by hand.
Kneed the dough to soft and elastic.
Place into a buttered bowl cover w/ plastic wrap and place in a warm place to rise till double.
Punch dough down; move to a flowered surface and roll dough.
Spread dough with softened butter; sprinkle w/ cinnamon, sugar and raisins.
Roll - beginning at the long side.
Slice into a large buttered pan; cover and let rise till top of pan.
Bake 350 degrees for 25 Minutes to 30 mins. Turn onto a cooling rack cool completely before frosting. If you prefer goo follow recipe below.
Into the pan you will bake in:
Add 1/4 cup melted butter
3/4 cup brown sugar a little water and a little corn syrup along w/ some broken pecans.
Arrange the sliced rolls over the pecans.
Cover and let rise.
Bake as above.
Do not frost!

1 tsp vanilla
Enough milk for a loose frosting
Spread on cooled rolls
