Geno's homemade pork barbecue sauce

1 small onion, roasted
½ cup ketchup
½ cup molasses
¼ cup rice wine vinegar
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 cloves garlic, roasted
1 jalapeno pepper, roasted (optional)
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp hungarian paprika
½ tsp salt
1 dash fresh ground pepper
Roast the onion, garlic and pepper drizzled with olive oil in a 375 toaster oven for 30 Minutes.
In food processor add roasted garlic onion and vinegar. Process briefly until pureed. Holding back the jalapeno pepper add puree to all remaining ingredients in a sauce pan.
Peel and chop the pepper. Add the pepper puree a teaspoon at a time until the desired zip is obtained. Saute the sauce for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally to incorporate. Taste and adjust as you like.
