Mom’s Best Meat Loaf

Yields8 Servings
 1 ½ lbs lean ground beef
 1 cup milk
 1 egg lightly beaten
 ¾ cup soft bread crumbs
 1 medium onion, diced
 1 tbsp chopped green pepper (optional)
 1 tbsp ketchup
 1 ½ tsp salt
 1 tsp prepared horseradish
 1 tsp sugar
 1 tsp ground allspice
 1 tsp dill weed

In a large bowl place all ingredients; mix well.

Press into an ungreased glass loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

Drizzle top of loaf with ketchup. Bake another 15 minutes.

Notes:

For a two person meat loaf, half the recipe.
