Dough
2 Pkg dry yeast
½ cup water
1 tsp sugar
¾ cup Milk
1 stick butter
¼ cup sugar
1 ½ tsp salt
2 eggs beaten
3 ½ cups flour
Frosting
3 cups confectioners sugar
Milk
Vanilla
Dissolve yeast in water add tsp sugar. Set aside to proof.
Heat milk to scalding add stick of butter to melt; cool.
To mixer bowl add yeast mix, cooled milk and 1/4 cup sugar
Place dough into a buttered bowl; cover and let rise in a warm place until double. Punch down.
Roll into a large rectangle; spread with softened butter, cinnamon, sugar and raisins.
Along the long side, roll tucking in ends.
Slice into 1 1/2 inch slices.
Put cut side up into buttered large baking pan.
Cover and let rise in a warm place till double.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 Mins.
Remove from oven and turn onto cooling rack.
Once cool frost with confectioners sugar, vanilla and a little milk.
